"the girls" are here. going to watch movies and eat candy. I love hanging out with them and hearing about the world of "7th grade" middle school life. They are great girls and I feel like they are my daughters. (we are just missing my BFF and maddy).

"baracuda"

A baracuda is atracted to anything shiny. So when you go swimming in the ocean (or to work) don't wear any thing shiny. Baracudas are very fast and agile when it comes to swimming. There is about two baracuda attacks a week. They are very good at hunting. This fish hunts by grabing its prey, swallowing small prey whole while larger prey is ripped into pieces to get swallowed separately. Sometimes after a barracuda eats it leaves pieces around and seagulls eat the chunks.

Nice..................but the baracuda's I know don't look like this..................

My new fav. My BFF introduced this to me this week. I am in love. So yummy and refreshing. We walked last night and came back to a cold, served over ice beverage. (and a nice air-conditioned house.) How good would this be with chips and salsa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE Sephora stores. They have one in Las Vegas and it is fab. I want to do cool make-up like this for photo shoots.

I am back on track with weight watchers. Today is a new day. My BFF and I committed to getting back on track "for real". No more excuses, not complaining about the weather, etc. Walking is a priority and there are NO EXCUSES! We don't want to be uncomfortable in our own skin and we want to look hot for summer. ha ha. Ok, it's official. It's in writing. I'm walking tonight at 5:30 if anyone wants to join me..........

I don't know why I am so fascinated with cupcakes lately. They look so scrumptious and yummy. I don't enjoy baking, but I love to look (and eat!) The idea of cupcakes is very appealing. I wish I had one right now. Here are a few I found surfing around last night when I should have been sleeping. Maybe someone will make them and tell me how good they are..........

My BFF is leaving for San Fransico, CA tomorrow. I wish I was going. She is going for work, so it's not like she is taking a vacation without me. We would have so much fun "painting the town red" (or maybe rainbow??) Have a great trip BFF!! I will miss you. Don't be surprised if I walk in your neighborhood without you. Make good food choices. Can't wait to hear all about it..................

"glorious strawberries"

Strawberries are the perfect fruit. They are my new "fav" snack right now. Just as they are. Not in a pie, or a trifle or on a cheesecake. Sweet, bright and juicy, just as they are. (now don't get me wrong, they are "delish" dipped in a little bit of chocolate!) My kids and I just had a big bowl as a snack. Yum...
