"booty, booty, booty, booty, rockin' everywhere..."

Rocking the 80's. Dressed up for work today. This is what I looked like in high school. (except I was a lot skinnier). My hair was AMAZING (and huge)! As was my blue mascara and legwarmers. We are some hot bitches.
Some of our "elderly" clients didn't realize we were dressed up for HALLOWEEN. They thought we just were fancy for the day. We didn't ever tell them it was a costume. Scary. Teresa's "pleather" zebra vest was a huge hit. And her winged hair.

We actually had to work on clients. Bummer. I just wanted to sit around in my kick-ass boots all day lookin' awesome and eating cookies.

My pimp stopped by to check us out.

"pumpkin carving"

Well we finally got some pumpkins to carve and got them done tonight. It was fun and the kids were very creative. This is Tyler's new santa hat that I bought him last night. This is his halloween costume. He even wore it to bed last night.
Nicole was very creative. She loves Hollister so she went online and found the logo and traced it on her pumpkin and carved it. Cool.

Tyler had some plastic eyeballs from a gumball machine and LeRoy drilled holes for him to put them on his pumpkin. They look awesome.

This is Tyler's awesome pumpkin. He did it all by himself. I carved one that looked like a bat. I didn't have room to put it on this post. More halloween pics to come. I LOVE HALLOWEEN. Tomorrow at work we are all dressing up in 80's fashion. I will take pics and post them. My costume it totally awesome dudes.

"bought a kid for 19 cents a lb"

Went to Ray's last night after the volleyball game to get some pumpkins to carve (lame, I know since I didn't buy any to carve when we went to the pumpkin patch). This boy looks vaguely familiar. Of course he had to have the one IN THE BACK. I was laughing so hard. LeRoy was of coarse ready to blow a gasket because he was so annoyed. Nicole was annoyed. I thought it was so funny. I just let him climb over the pumkins and find "the one". Hopefully we will get the darned things carved! Volleyball tonight in Corvallis (playoff game) and so much to do this week.

"halloween shirts are DONE"

I finally got the girls Halloween shirts done. I guess I am a little crafty. I couldn't find the "m & m" font, so I had to make it myself. I used wonderunder and felt and transfered them. They turned out great and the girls love them. Nicole decided to go with black tights (since that is all we could find!!)

"hangin' with my hommies"

Had a very awesome lunch today with my friends. Met Anne for the 1st time in person. Love her. Jessie rocks as usual. So great getting to talk to Suzanne (waiting for lemon yummies). And of course the marvelous BFF. We talked and laughed and are dreaming of a craft-a-poolza day with yummy treats. I am going to stalk all of your blogs since I haven't been on in a week! Anne-I have funny sh*t I am going to send out on future blogs. Be warned :) Everyone expects if from me! (ha, looks like I posted first!!! oh, I guess I had the pictures)We were playing twister on the sidewalk in front of American Dream pizza.

"friday night lights......"

Friday night = football games. Tonight was South side vs. West side. Had a great time hanging with little miss madison. We crack each other up. Maddy- let's go camping sometime. tee hee. To check out hightlights, stats, more pics, check out Kam's blog. I don't want to steal her thunder :) My little cuties Jasmine and Nicole before the game. Had to go get red ribbons for their hair.

Maddy, Me and Kam.
Love going to games and supporting BFF and her son. Had a great time as usual. Kam and I don't talk much during the game (she is way too nervous). So I entertain myself talking to B.H. and Kathy (who made me a delightful, warm, comfy spot to sit). Maddy and I laughed the entire game.

"brace face cutie"

Well, here she is. Metal and all. I think she looks adorable. She is doing well. Mouth is a little sore. Eating jello, pudding, mashed taters, and managed to eat Taco Bell. I haven't checked my blog since Tuesday! That's a long time, but I have been SO busy. Today I am meeting the girls for lunch and when I get back I will blog and post pics and catch everyone up. So much to blog about. Peace out.

"i got an award, i got an award......"

Thanks "miss anne"!! What a sweet gesture and it made my day!(and BFF's day too.) Get ready for sunday. We will make you pee your pants. (note to self: wear depends undergarmets). And be prepared, because you all know I will bring my camera. We will blog our "first date". :) We will be ridiculous! I DIE.

"brace myself for Thursday"

Actually Nicole. Took her to the orthodontist today and they said she is ready and they put spacers in today. Braces on Thursday. They don't mess around. I had a little (a lot) of panic when the finances were discussed. Those of you that have paid for braces, know what I mean. I guess we can never afford it, but it will work out. I better start collecting pop cans. I have to work Thurs. but the kids don't have school, so dear old dad gets to take her. Not sure how that's gonna go, but that's the way it is. I will post a pic (with some resistance, I am sure) of her when she gets them.

"inspiration for the day"

BFF. I wondered why I didn't hear from you yesterday. Weird that you are wanting to sleep so much and are so tired. Glad you are getting it checked out. Here is some inspiration for the day. Call me!!!!

IF I HAD MY LIFE TO LIVE OVER - by Erma Bombeck( written after she found out she was dying from cancer).

I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending the earth would go into a holding pattern if I weren't there for the day.

I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose before it melted in storage.

I would have talked less and listened more.

I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained, or the sofa faded.

I would have eaten the popcorn in the 'good' living room and worried much less about the dirt when someone wanted to light a fire in the fireplace.

I would have taken the time to listen to my grandfather ramble about his youth.

I would have shared more of the responsibility carried by my husband.

I would never have insisted the car windows be rolled up on a summer day because my hair had just been teased and sprayed.

I would have sat on the lawn with my grass stains.

I would have cried and laughed less while watching television and more while watching life.

I would never have bought anything just because it was practical, wouldn't show soil, or was guaranteed to last a lifetime.

Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy, I'd have cherished every moment and realized that the wonderment growing inside me was the only chance in life to assist God in a miracle.

When my kids kissed me impetuously, I would never have said, 'Later. Now go get washed up for dinner.' There would have been more 'I love you's' More 'I'm sorry's.'

But mostly, given another shot at life, I would seize every minute.look at it and really see it...... live it and never give i t back.

STOP SWEATING THE SMALL STUFF!!!

Don't worry about who doesn't like you, who has more, or who's doing what.

Instead, let's cherish the relationships we have with those who do love us!

"and they make into the playoffs......"

Went to SAHS varsity football game with BFF friday night. They won and secured a spot int the playoffs. Warms my heart since SA usually is shadowed by the other side of town. They play the rival game next week. GO REBS!
This is Zac (BFF's son and his adorable girlfriend Meg). (Kam, sorry I didn't get these posted yesterday for your blog:(
Proud moms.

I had a busy day yesterday. Had a football game in Stayton at 9:30 am. Kids both had a basketball camp at 2:00. Cleaned (hubby did most of cleaning, I did organizing and picking up) house, worked on my closet (those who know me, know I have WAY TOO MANY CLOTHES), and lit candles and started on my inspiration board. Kam, want to get together today and work on them together??? I will go get chips and salsa from our fav place.

"it's the little things......"

Ok, so. There have been a lot of things lately that really sucked. People being rude, gossipy, unfair and just downright dumb. I have taken the high road and not said anything inappropriate (hard to believe, I know) or stuped the their level (even though I wanted to rip their face off). So I decided to move into a bubble and ignore those idiots and live my life. I ventured out of my bubble yesterday and quickly retreated. It's scary out there. So today my last client cancelled, so I thought "hmmmmmmmmm.......it's Friday and I need to go grocery shopping for the weekend". So I scaddaddled out and headed to the store. Now most people are going to think this post is ridiculous, but I had three good things happen today. They might seem minor to some, but kindness and nice gestures go so far with me.
So I go to Safeway. They have $5.00 footlong Friday (not the wimpy Subway ones, this ones huge). I have extra kids at my house (that's pretty usual). So the lady at the deli asked me if I was going to buy a sandwich. I told her I already had one in my cart. I asked her if they came without tomatos. She said "no, but i can make you one." I told her that was ok, but she went to the bakery and got a fresh, out-of-the-oven loaf of frenchbread and made me one without tomatos. YUM. What a nice gesture. She made my day. The sandwich was DELICIOUS!
So I get home with my footlong and groceries and I see an envelope on the counter addressed to me. I open it and it is from one of my favorite clients. She (lova ya Angelina!!) had enclosed a wonderful card thanking me for doing her hair and she loved it. Also enclosed was 3 OSU Beaver tickets to the Nov. 1 game against AZ state and bonus snack money. Who does that? She is so sweet and it means more than she will ever know. thank you. So I have come to the conclusion that there ARE still nice people in the world and those people can come into my bubble. (I love my blog friends too!). I know this sounds so minor to some people, but I really appreciate when people go out of there way to do nice things for others. Thanks nice people.

And my BFF gave me tickets to the varsity SAHS game tonight. I get to sit by her. That always makes my day. Her stud QB son Zac is playing. I love going to a football game on a friday night, in the fall, with my BFF, watching my nephew (he's really not my nephew:), taking my daughter and her friend. Life is good..............

"kambria"

Step AWAY from the bag. I mean it. I will come over there and kick your salt & vinegar ass. Look at the fat grams. Walk away....................... This post was "tough love" and hard to do because these are the best potato chip on the planet. My favorite. I LOVE THEM. i die.....................

"tommy lee"

Quote from Kambria "tommy lee needs to put on her big girl panties and deal with it"............

"staying with my dragqueen theme...."

A cabbie picks up a Nun. She gets into the cab, and notices that theVERY handsome cab driver won't stop staring at her.She asks him why he is staring. He replies: 'I have a question to ask,but I don't want to offend you.'She answers, ' My son, you cannot offend me. When you're as old as I am and have been a nun as long as I have, you get a chance to see and hear just about everything. I'm sure that there's nothing you could say or ask that I would find offensive.''Well, I've always had a fantasy to have a nun kiss me.
'She responds, 'Well, let's see what we can do about that:

#1, you have to be single and
#2, you must be Catholic.'

The cab driver is very excited and says, 'Yes, I'm single and Catholic!''

OK' the nun says. 'Pull into the next alley.'The nun fulfills his fantasy with a kiss that would make a hooker blush. But when they get back on the road, the cab driver starts crying.'My dear child,' said the nun, 'Why are you crying?''Forgive me but I've sinned. I lied and I must confess; I'm married and I'm Jewish.'The nun says, 'That's OK. My name is Kevin and I'm going to a Halloween party.'

"livin' in my bubble (as a dragqueen?????"

I did a good job deflecting evil today with my bubble powers. My daughter had a volleyball game tonight at the club and they won all three games agains their rivals. Tonight was sweet. Today at work, I didn't allow any negative energy into my bubble. I didn't allow any junk food into my bubble. I feel pretty good about today. Bubble power live on.............. This is just random but hilarious. My husband sent me a link to this blog LadyClover Honey. He said he googled "miss understood" (why, I am not sure, he can look at my blog) and this is what came up. I really am secretly a drag queen. They always have over the top hair, makeup and clothes. I do kinda like that. If I was born a boy, I probably would have been a drag queen.

"D-U-N-N"

I think I am going to live in a bubble.
Unless you are going to be nice............................. I had this big long extensive post about people being nice and honest, and not gossiping and loving yourself and others, and then blogger wasn't available and it erased it all. Maybe it wasn't meant for everyone to see. Here is my new, short, revised version. It pretty much says it all.

"i love the pumpkin patch!!!!"

I took the day off today since the kids didn't have school and we went to the pumpkin patch. Me, Nicole, Mitchell (her boyfriend) and Tyler. We went thru the corn maze, picked out some pumpkins, Tyler did the hay maze and we enjoyed the day. It was hot! I definately dressed too warm. We got some great pics and had fun. I love the pumpkin patch and fall. I will have more pics from next weekend when we go to one in Stayton and I am going with Tylers class on Halloween. (This picture isn't me by the way!) Mitchell, Tyler and Nicole looking for pumpkins.
Mitchell & Nicole. Aren't they cute? He is a very nice, respectful boy.

They even had some goats out there.

Me & my boy.

"pumpkin patch fun"

Lots and lots of pumpkins at Grandpa's Pumpkin Patch. We have been going there for years.
Me and my girl. People keep telling us we look alike and in this pic, I do see it :) Tyler & Nicole.

"WHY-WHY-WHY"

I am so mad right now I could SCREAM. We have these wonderful steaks we are BBQing for dinner tonight. I cut up onion, peppers, mushrooms with seasonings, baked potatoes (all of these are CORE on weight watchers). Being SO good today. Took my boy to the movies and didn't eat movie theater popcorn, no candy. I look out the kitchen window as my husband is BBQing and he has an ENTIRE stick of butter he is melting over our steaks as he is cooking them. I screamed out the window "what are you DOING???????) Don't put f*ing butter on my steak. So he throws the cube onto the vegies. Don't put it on my vegies either! Why the F*ck are you putting butter on my food? On your food? BUTTER! Why, why, why..............................I am going to eat it but I'm not going to be happy.

"fall giveaway"

I don't usually enter contests, but this one sounds fun. Check it out on MissAnnes blog. I also have her on my blogroll.

"inner peace"

I am passing this on to you because it definitely works, and we
could all use a little more calmness in our lives. By following simple
advice heard on the Dr. Phil show, you too can find inner peace.
Dr. Phil proclaimed, 'The way to achieve inner peace is to
finish all the things you have started and have never finished.'
So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and
hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I
finished off a bottle of White Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream, a package of Oreos, the remainder of an old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos, and a box of chocolates. You have no
idea how freaking good I feel right now.
Pass this on to those whom you think might be in need of inner peace.
