Our little ray of sunshine "Sunny D" is leaving (the BGCA)...................we will miss you so much but are excited to celebrate your wedding!!! I had to put this pic of you and your scooter on just one last time. We all went to Gametime (a cute little neighborhood bar on the southside) for drinks and dinner. It was me, Sunny, Kam, Tara (and the baby, can you believe she took a baby into a bar?), Maxine, Ashley and Jessie (where the heck were you Janie??????) Everyone (except me) got REALLY drunk and danced on the tables. You all missed a really good time. ha ha ha ha ha ha (Janie, I am acting like you were there :)

I finally found a wall unit that fits our TV. Have been looking for a long time. It looks great in the family room and I love it!! Reminds me of going to IKEA and dreaming of having my house look like that...

"firepit & smores"

We got a firepit last weekend and I (I mean the kids) have been dying to make smores. It's like camping in your backyard with all the comforts of home and you get to sleep in your own bed. Nicole had a couple of friends over tonight to break it in. I am sure there will be many more summer nights with teenagers and smores to come. Cheap entertainment and I know what they are doing. I love summer.

Another one of my summer dreams is to have a traditional New England Clambake.......in New England. Oh, to have such options. I found this link on Pottery Barn entertaining ideas and want to have parties all summer long. You all are invited. The possibilities are endless......

"great wolf lodge"

A client told me about this place "Great Wolf Lodge" in Washington. Kind of pricey, but sounds like so much fun. And it's a water park. One of my favorite things to do. I have such a big wish list of places I would love to go this summer. Hopefully we can make it to a few of them.

Thinking of going here tomorrow for a family fun day. McDowell Creek Falls. Near Sweet Home. Didn't realize this even existed so close to home. I should get out more often.

....and he scores. Tyler had a great hit tonight and is enjoying baseball alot. He had a great tag-out on 3rd base and has the battle scars to prove it. Some blood (elbow) and dirt (everywhere). My boy is growing up...

When you play you pay. Took a few day off last week and now I am working like a fool and feelin' it. I feel like I am swimming in a fishbowl. Really need to walk tonight, but I think my legs won't make it. Was on my feet for 9 hours and I think they are DONE.

"a great {harvest} day"

Had a great day today. Went to Corvallis Farmer's Market with Nicole, Kam, Sunny & Madison. We bought some produce and flowers and then went to my fav. American Dream for salad, pizza and cookies. Such gorgeous weather and a fun day.

We also had to make a stop at "Great Harvest" to buy some yummy bread! Had a sample (with butter) and it was heavenly. Now I have to walk (my BFF just called as I was posting this) and I don't want to, but she is making me. I will thank her later.

"cosmopolitan"

This is my drink of choice when I go out to a restaurant (which is rarely.) I really wanted one tonight after me and BFF went on a 3 mile walk . Decided I didn't want to drink the calories I just burned off, so I settled for my next fav drink. Dt. Pepsi with Lime. (as seen on a previous post.) I think everyone should come over and we can have a party.............

"Cosmo"

2 oz. vodka, 1/2 oz. triple sec, 1 oz. cranberry juice, 1/2 oz. Rose's lime juice or fresh lime juice. Pour into a cocktail shaker with crushed ice and shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a lime twist. Enjoy...

"spring cleaning"

Oh how I wish this was my closet. I am working on cleaning mine out (again) and organizing it. It just seems so overwhelming. My BFF reminds me that I can do little bits at a time and don't have to do it all at once "all or nothing". I got some done last night and plan on working on it for a 'half an hour" today. Holy moly.............then I have to start on my jewelry......... HELP!!

Can't believe it's the last week of the school year. This year flew by. Hoping this summer will be the best ever since I am more in control over my work schedule and can spend more time with my kids this year. Otter beach here we come (with the Hunter's!!) Lots going on this week with awards , swimming & snacks, last day of school festivities. Hello summer.................

shout out to my south side hoes from the "bgca". You know who you are! I "googled" south side hoes and got scared at what came up!! So I decided a pic of a garden hoe was safer. I love you girls. went to the premier opening night. GREAT MOVIE!!!!! Loved it. went with some girlfriends (south side girls). saw some "ladies" in stilleto heals and all dolled up. must have come from the other side of the bridge. movie was very "full frontal" in some scenes. would recommend it to all.
