I made these cute "reindeer" for the guys (over 21 got beer!) and families with kids got root beer! Was so easy and cute and everyone loved them.
I found this idea online (Pinterest of course!) and loved it. You take a deck of regular playing cards. I found these fab ones at Micheals for $1 a deck!
You punch 2 holes and put 1" metal binder rings thru them. Basically you decide
WHO you want to cherish and tell them how much you love them and print "52" nice things and put them in a "book". So inexpensive (approx $4 each total), but time consuming and so thoughtful.

This is the one I made for hubby. He actually got a little teary-eyed when he opened it and read it. He was surprised because he saw me endlessly working on 2 for my sisters. Was hard to find the time to get his made when he wasn't around. I loved giving these. I would LOVE to receive a gift like this.................
So I made both of my sisters one too. I think they were surprised and loved them. Some of the things I put were funny, some serious, some thoughful, some inside jokes. Surprisingly it wasn't hard to come up with 52 things! You really have to like the person you are making this for or it may be difficult to find that many nice things to say! (and about 3 days before Christmas I was upset w my little sis and didn't have her book finished so it was hard to say nice things.................I had to get over it and finish her book! It all ended well.) I need to make one for my mommy! :)
I put this as the front page inside the cover on both of theirs.
These are a few pages from Donna's book..........
A few pages from KayDee's book................
And speaking of ideas from Pinterest................I decided I dress cute enough I should take pics of some of the cute outfits I wear daily like the fab ideas that are on that website. Pinterest ain't got nothin' on me! (and if I get in a rut and "don't have anything to wear" I can look back and see that I have plenty of cute clothes. I probably just need to get the laundry caught up!
