Seriously.
These girls make me laugh.
Out loud.
They are funny and confident and do their own thing. And have a great sense of humor.
This is such a great group of teenagers.
Last night Kambria and I and Nicole walked. Then we went back to pick up Madison and Taylor to go to Red Robin for (entertainment) dinner :)
The giggles began before we even go into the car. They were not worried about primping or seeing anyone they knew. It was a "come as you are". (maddy's hair was a hot mess, she had been at a track meet all day :)
So we sit the hooligans at a separate table so we could talk.
Giggles, giggles upon hysterical giggles is all we hear. So much that the people behind the girls were annoyed. Who gets that annoyed at people laughing. I knew something was up.
So I see the Red Robin waiters heading our way with a "birthday" sundae.
I told Kam, "I think the girls told them it was one of their birthdays so they could get a free sundae".
Then I said "oh crap, they are coming to our table!!"
They looked at me and wished me a happy birthday and I pointed to Kam and said "no, it's her birthday (trying to keep a straight face, and hearing the girls laughing). So they asked her what her name was. She said "missy". I am trying so hard to keep it together.
It was so funny! Then the girls told us later they wrote the waiter a note on a napkin with a crayon that it was my birthday (clearly it is not my birthday, It's in August, Kam's is in March). Seriously.
I. LOVE. THESE. GIRLS!

"laughing in the rain"
Ok. So I called Kam to see if she wanted to walk tonight. We were both tired and it was already 7:30. I told her I was comin' over. So I get to her house and it just started to drizzle outside and she was laying on the couch. (she had the better idea, I had the brilliant idea that we were walking.) I told her we wouldn't melt. HA (I look a little scary !?! uni-bomber hoodie again?!?) The farther we get from her house and it starts to DOWNPOUR.
Run, Kam, Run :) Yo a runna.
(oh, and I don't want to hear ONE WORD about this picture :)
We were SOAKED. And now we think EVERYTHING is funny. Don't we look hot. It was POURING in these pics but you can't tell. I had my new phone and I didn't really know how to work it and it was getting wet, and we were running (jiggly, jiggly), and now it's just funny. (oh, and we saw a rainbow, and got chased by a leprechaun). Really, nobody should have this much fun exercising in the rain.

"tagged B.S."
Ok. So this tagged crap. :) When I got home from work, I looked good. But that was hours ago. Before I changed my clothes, and messed up my hair and removed my jewelry. I was going to be naughty and put a good pic of myself, but this is the "take a pic right now, no primping". Not so good. This is the real deal. ugggghhhh. The reasons this picture is so funny.
1. my daughter glaring in the background. ha haha hahhaahha. (she thinks I am ridiculous)
2. nice uni-bomber hoodie
3. looks like I have no hair
4. my makeup is almost worn off
5. cell phones pics don't do us any justice (retouching anyone?)
6. I worked 10 hours today and am tired!!
So I am tagging my sister Donna and Becky and Angelina. ha ha! Everyone else has already done it.
This is kind of a histerical post. I am going to randomly do this when I need a good laugh :)

"banana chocolate chip muffins"
I made these banana chocolate chip muffins and they are amazing. And only 3 points (weight watchers). The kids loved them and have requested more! Here is the recipe. I found it on recipegirl.com. 3 medium very-ripe bananas
1 large egg
1/3 c. low fat milk (or buttermilk)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350. Line regular size muffin tin with liners or spray with cooking spray.
In large bowl, mash bananas with a fork. Whisk in egg, milk and sugars.
In separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda and salt. Slowly add to wet mixture and mix until combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
Spoon equal amounts of batter into 12 muffin cups. Bake 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pan then remove to wire rack to cool completely.
Servings: 12
They are really good out of the oven, or heat them for 10 seconds in the microwave to get the chocolate chips gooey :)
P.S. Movie Review
The Women- LOVED IT (if youv'e been married a long time and are over the age of 35, it's one you can relate to.)
Seven Pounds- Good. A little dark. Took us until the movie was half way over to figure it out.
The Express- AWESOME. AWESOME. AWESOME. Based on a true story. Best movie I have seen in a long time. Very "feel good" type of sports movie.

"the perfect friday night"
After a VERY long and tiring week and having a sore throat and feeling crummy all week. It's Friday night. Hooray!! And it's just the 4 of us.
That's right. Me, LeRoy, Nicole and Tyler.
No joke.
No extra kids.
Just us. Bliss. ........and finally finding Cadbury Mini chocolate eggs.

Just us. Bliss. ........and finally finding Cadbury Mini chocolate eggs.
Due to hormonal inbalance (tee hee) I have been looking for these for 2 days and about 5 stores later. That should be a post all it's own, but I will spare you the gory details. :) Finally found them at Fred Meyers.
Cadbury eggs.
Bought a nice cold Diet A & W root beer out of the cooler.
Silly these little things make me happy.
I don't usually buy or even eat candy, but due to the i-need-chocolate-or-someone-will-get-hurt imbalance, I was on the hunt for somethin'.
Nicole usually won't let me buy candy, but I think she got my drift :)
I found these Nerds bumpy jelly beans and................................OMG. the perfect balance of a little crunchy, a little sour, gummy, goodness.
And then Nicole wanted the whoppers robin eggs.
Nicole and I went to Hollywood to rent movies.
This one is my pick. I will try and do a review post and report if they were good or not.
Nicole's pick.
Nicole's pick. (she ALWAYS picks sports movies, her fav.)
I know I will be regretting my sugar-polooza tomorrow. or when I get on the scale next week. But whatever. Right at this moment, I am happy. Happy my family is home safe. I get them all to myself :)
Straight sugar running straight thru my veins, comfy pants on, curled up with my hobo quilt, blogging and going to veg on my couch with my teenage daughter and watch movies. I love my family.
Bliss.......................................
